Explanation:

The Vantage Connect setup allows you to monitor and manage multiple Davis weather stations online. After purchase, you will receive an email with an Activation Code to register your device.

Registration Steps:

1. 
   Follow instructions in the email or go to WeatherLink.com → Register → Select “Vantage Connect.”
   
2. 
   Read and agree to the Terms of Use.
   
3. 
   Enter the DID and KEY from the stickers on the Vantage Connect shelter and manual.
   
4. 
   Create a user name, password, and provide your email address.
   
5. 
   Set your time zone and Daylight Saving preference.
   
6. 
   Enter the Activation Code from the email.
   
7. 
   Click Continue with Registration.
   
8. 
   Agree to the Service Agreement.
   
9. 
   Click Create Account.
   

Vantage Connect Configuration:

• 
  Reporting Stations & Units: Enter the transmitter ID for each station (up to 8). Select the station type (e.g., Vantage Pro2 ID 1, Leaf & Soil Moisture Station ID 2). If using repeaters, enable them and assign final repeater IDs. Choose units and click Save.

  Device Settings: Enter elevation for accurate barometric pressure. Select anemometer and rain collector types. Input year-to-date rainfall and rain season start. Optionally set up to 20 daily alarms for weather conditions. Calibrate temperature, humidity, and wind readings if needed. For wind direction, enter the true orientation in degrees (1–359°). Click Save.

  Clear Highs and Lows: Remove any erroneous data created during installation.
  
• 
  My Account: Enter city, state, country, latitude & longitude, station name (for web page), station type, 24-hour time display preference, and privacy setting. Click Save.
  

Settings are pushed to the Vantage Connect at the first update after powering on. Changes appear on WeatherLink.com after at least 2 update intervals (5, 15, or 60 minutes depending on your plan).
