High quality crank-shaped alloy pole and bracket for mounting weather stations' integrated outdoor sensor suites. Useful where you wish to mount the pole to a wall or fascia and need to clear the eave of your roof.


Suitable for ACCUR8, Davis, Bresser, Explore Scientific, Technoline etc.

  • The kit comprises a quality metal alloy 3ft long pole (cranked).
  • The bracket is also quality metal alloy, with a U-bolt that can be tightened to provide a superior grip on the pole/mast.
  • Suitable for fixing directly into wood, or masonry. Note: Fixings are not included for attaching to a wall or fascia (they should be selected depending on what you plan to fix it to).

Cranked alloy one piece pole: 3ft long x 1in diameter (914mm x 25mm) 

The crank offset is 12in (300mm)

Wall bracket: Base size 6in x 2.75in (155mm x 70mm). The stand-off (distance from wall to near edge of pole) is approxmately 30mm.

Note: No wall fixings are included for attaching the bracket to a wall or fascia (they should be selected depending on what you plan to fix it to).

Struggled to find mountings, but discovered accu.co.uk and bought six stainless 8mm x 40 torx screws. Expensive but robust. Also bough a pair of 1" rubber end caps to stop wind blowing across the pipe and and associated sound that would make.

Crank-shaped Mounting Pole Kit

I bought this mounting pole in order to mount a WS 2816 wind sensor. It was easy to assemble and attach to a vertical fence post using the supplied fixing kits for both the mounting pole and wind sensor.

NOT LONG ENOUGH

I purchased this as I thought it would be suitable to mount the weather station above the gutter line. When it arrived I decided that it wasn't long enough to get away from the gutter and effects of the roof. In the end I used a ten foot pole with a stand-off. All seems well now.

Easy to fit
